Our Mission
The Women’s Finance Exchange is committed to:
- Developing a network for professional women with careers in or supporting the financial services industry.
- Generating referral partnerships via networking opportunities.
- Providing programs that foster professional development and encourage social interaction among members.
- Giving to our community by promoting and enhancing the welfare of all women.
Who We Are
We are women who support women. The WFE was initially founded in 1990 in Atlanta so that women active in the financial arena could assemble to discuss business issues and build upon their referral bases. Formed in 1998, the Dallas chapter of the WFE is comprised of professionals, attorneys, accountants, lenders, principals, investment bankers and agents involved in mergers, acquisitions, financings and other deal activities. To date membership stands at over 100.
What We Do
Our monthly events include luncheons that feature guest speakers addressing various topics that directly impact women and a variety of other networking events.
A portion of proceeds from our Annual Derby Day benefits the Texas Women’s Foundation in their efforts to support at-risk women and girls in their community. To date, WFE has contributed over $200,000 to this charitable organization.
We support Attitudes and Attire, a program that provides gently used business attire to help promote personal growth for economically disadvantaged women.
